When parents Jonathan and Kanika leave for the day the Evans kids are taken by surprise when Tyson tries to get them to break the rules. The parents return and are stunned to learn Tyson was acting like the tempter. At bedtime, Kanika reads the account of Jesus in the desert to show the kids how to stand firm against temptation.
